Buford Evans

Buford Evans, the patriarch of the CORE Auction family, was a Hall of Fame auctioneer who lived and breathed the auction profession. In 1964, he founded the Nashville Auction School, training auctioneers worldwide and leading the industry with passion and expertise. Based primarily in Middle Tennessee, Buford raised his family in the auction business. In 1980, the Smithsonian Institution recognized him pertaining to “People that earn a living with their Voices.” In 1984, the Tennessee Auctioneers Association honored him as a Hall of Fame member for his outstanding contributions to auctioneering.
